Stacy Elizabeth Beshear Charged With Stalking
According to reports, Ms. Walton says that Stacy Beshear has been harassing him since late last year. Beshear has plead "not guilty" to a misdemeanor charge of stalking and a November 6 trial date has been set in the case. If convicted, she could face a year in county jail for the crime. Speak Out … Bynum ignored
Once again, those of us in Bynum have been placed on the back burner.The Bynum School renovation has been removed from the Oxford city budget. Why? Could it be that a multi-million-dollar sports complex takes priority? There are other less costly projects that would better our city, such as renovation of the civic center, Bynum School renovation, fence repair, and dugout benches and bleachers (which were there, but needed repair, when Oxford began the upkeep) at the Bynum field.In this climate of economic uncertainty, do we really need to go into debt for such a large project? Let's face it: The only way that the Bynum area is going to get a voice on the City Council is by electing councilmen by wards.
